Miss Maddie Conwell, student at Brisbane Girls Grammar School and Ambassador for the National Youth Science Forum (NYSF), was the guest speaker at our meeting today.
Maddie has excelled in a number of areas including Chemistry, Psychology and Mathematics. Her interests include music (i.e: violin and percussion) and she has played in 3 Young Conservatorium ensembles.
Maddie is clearly a high achiever and has won many awards and prizes for her accomplishments.
Maddie is a great Ambassador and shared her experience of the NYSF as this may help other aspiring students.
Student Applications for the 2014 National Youth Science Forum are due at the Rotary District 9600 office no later than 30 June. The District selection process will be completed by 31 July 2013.
