CLUB SUPPORTS GLOBAL DISASTER RELIEF PROGRAM SHELTERBOX

ShelterBox is a disaster relief charity that provides shelter, warmth and dignity to those who have been affected by disasters worldwide.

At the heart of every ShelterBox is a tent for a family of up to 10 people that is designed to withstand extreme temperatures, high winds and heavy rainfall.

A donation of AU$1,000 provides a ShelterBox which may be tracked by its own unique serial number so that donors may learn where their box has been sent.

The Rotary Club of Brisbane Mid-City has donated 5 ShelterBoxes to date. These boxes have been delivered to disaster areas in Nepal, Pakistan, Myanmar and Turkey.
